It’s been a long winter, especially for golf enthusiasts. But your hopes of getting out to play those18 holes don’t have to be dashed by a less-than-perfect weather report. Interactive Sports Technologies has invented a golf simulator, High Definition Golf™, which has been referred to as the most realistic creation of its kind in the world, superior to any other golf simulator on the market.

AVW-TELAV, in conjunction with SANYO Canada, has made a commitment to Interactive Sports to supply quick delivery of products and ongoing support so that Interactive Sports' customers can get High Definition Golf™ installed and functioning right away.

In addition to SANYO/AVW-TELAVs’ ability to provide quick delivery and exceptional service, these projectors were chosen by Interactive Sports because of their ruggedness and capability to operate for the extended hours required for their simulators. Often these units run in excess of twelve hours per day without interruption or service down time, thus providing exceptional value.

High Definition Golf™ is in demand for several reasons. Instead of using computer-simulated graphics of a golf course, the company secured the rights to use real images of all the best golf courses around the globe so users of the product get the chance to experience world-class courses they could never otherwise play on. It utilizes a completely different technology that uses sensors to track the speed and position of a ball much more accurately than previous systems.

High Definition Golf™ is also surprisingly versatile. When not being used for golf, the twelve-feet-wide screen can be used as a giant theatre screen. Because of the wide variety of applications, including bars, country clubs, golf schools, and private homes, the system has to be easy to operate, durable and low maintenance.
