Event Staging- The Source By Circuit City

Isn't it great to know exactly what you're getting before it arrives? No surprises. No empty promises. No last-minute omissions. Just exactly what you want, precisely when you want it?

That's what Wendy Baker, Event Manager, The Source By Circuit City, says she appreciates about working with AVW-TELAV. "The reason we continue partnering with AVW-TELAV is because what they propose is exactly what we get! Drawings are provided to us well in advance of our event and the on-site reality is almost a mirror image. As a result, they provide me with an amazing comfort level and confidence in their work," she explains.

This is the forth year AVW-TELAV was hired to produce The Source By Circuit City's annual convention. Taking place at the Doubletree International Plaza Hotel in Toronto, this year's event was a visual rollercoaster for guests in attendance, as we changed the set design nine times over six days. We also provided simultaneous interpretation services in English and French for three business sessions.

For sharp sound throughout the Plaza Ballroom, AVW-TELAV utilized a line array system with CQ1 and UPA along with a brand new digital audio board. "Using the digital audio board for this event was great because there are quite a few entertainment acts that performed more than once during the week," said Tammy Carey, Account Executive, Toronto. "We were able to set the levels during the first sound check, and then save them to be used later in the week again."

Ms. Baker also mentioned that she appreciates the technical proficiency and customer service skills of our technicians who have been able to accommodate The Source By Circuit City's needs for the last four years consistently.

"As a consumer electronics retailer, The Source By Circuit City is keenly aware of the importance of providing customers with a 'total solution' experience in our stores, and the 'total solution - total experience' is exactly what we get from AVW-TELAV."
