The SNM is an international scientific and professional organization founded to promote the science, technology and practical application of nuclear medicine. SNM has been a faithful customer of AVW-TELAV for years, but this year's event was particularly exciting for both organizations. AVW-TELAV provided new and additional services such as Digital Signage and OnlineEvent™, setting the highest standard in digitally-advanced meeting quality.Digital Signage is one of our much-buzzed-about systems. It uses electronic displays combining many different types of media and sources into one display or sign. SNM was able to display an unlimited number of digital signs encompassing information that was important to its attendees, and we were able to update the information quickly and seamlessly.
"Another customer of mine came to SNM's show just to see how the Digital Signage worked," said Rick Bastas, Director of Operations, National Sales Group (NSG). "She was very impressed, and is looking forward to using Digital Signage in his 2008 meeting."One of our very latest product offerings is OnlineEvent™, which SNM also took advantage of. OnlineEvent™ is a webcasting and archiving service that captures the content from a meeting and makes the entire event available for viewing by your audience over the internet, on DVD or podcast. With this product, even SNM's members who couldn't make it to the meeting were able to get the full impact of the message.
An extremely popular Digital Service, a tried-and-true product of ours, Presentation Management, was also utilized to streamline the presentation submission process for SNM's event. Presentation Management allowed us to offer submissions of all presentations on-site at the Speaker Ready Room. All the presentations were then transferred electronically to each speaker's assigned meeting room, which simplified the process of delivering the presentation materials.SNM especially appreciated the ease and efficiency of Presentation Management. Lisa Lefebvre, Course Manager, SNM, commented in an article published in Convene magazine: "Everything is running and automatic by the time (the presenters) leave the room, and it helps the flow of the meeting. They don't have to wait for people to load things, and if there's anything quirky in their presentations, they can make sure it works."
Leaving the tough stuff up to our AVW-TELAV's digital services, SNM had an exceptionally fluid meeting, which will be archived online for viewing by its members for months to come.
